Rider fees cover less than 25% of actual expenses for this program; therefore, without continued financial support, this program would not exist. Tax deductible cash donations as well as item donations are needed to help defer our expenses, provide shoes and feed for horses, buy adaptive equipment for our special riders as well as help maintain the facility. Your cash donation will provide persons with special needs the opportunity to receive this exceptional form of therapy. Won’t you join in making miracles happen for our special equestrians?

If you would like to donate consider the following...

1. Cash Donations - Your tax deductible donation will be used to help a rider sit taller in the saddle, possibly take his first step or learn to use her voice for the first time!  Without the help of individual and corporate partners like you, Hearts & Hooves would not exist.  Thank you for your generous assistance in subsidizing the actual costs of what a rider is responsible for!  Our EIN# is available upon request.
2. Adopt A Horse - Contributions of $1,000 can be donated specifically to the care and upkeep of one of the program horses. Donors will be allowed to “adopt” an available horse for one year. The donor’s name will be placed in the barn next to the horse that is being sponsored and a plaque will be presented to the donor to proudly display in their office / home.
3. Memorials - It is particularly meaningful to all of us at Hearts & Hooves when our program is chosen as a symbol of love and remembrance for someone that you have lost. As a token of respect for your loved ones, please consider making a donation to our program to continue their legacy by helping someone with special needs. A letter acknowledging your donation will be sent to the family telling them of your generosity and kindness.
4. Honorariums - Hearts & Hooves is humbled when we are chosen as a means to honor that special person!  A letter will be sent to the honoree telling them of your generous donation in their honor; in addition, we will send you a thank you letter that may be used as a tax receipt.
5. Scholarship - Although Hearts & Hooves works diligently to keep lesson fees affordable, not all riders can afford this life changing experience.  Your donation to our scholarship fund could make it possible for a rider to hold her head higher, learn to walk or use his voice for the first time…all with pride and self confidence that may carry over to the classroom or work environment!  Your tax deductible donation could truly make a difference in the life of a rider!
6. Pay for a Lesson - If you would like to make a payment on your lesson fee, please click the button to the left.  Be sure to include the name of the rider as well as the session you are paying for, i.e., fall, 2009.  Thank you for being part of the Hearts & Hooves family!
