Windy is one of the most people oriented horses that has come to Hearts & Hooves. He is both curious and friendly! However, he is also one of the calmest and most willing to join our family...and he already had a friend when he arrived: he and Peanut used to be pasture mates in Texas!!! Windy was purchased for Hearts & Hooves in loving memory of R. W. (Windy) Windham by the Heflin family of Little Rock. Windy is a haflinger that was foaled in 2004 and joined Hearts & Hooves in the fall of 2009.

| I like to be busy and have an outlet where I can do things for others that I also enjoy. Volunteering allows me to do this without the stress and pressure of having a full-time job.
