Robyn Horn showcased her artwork at a private gathering in her studio, donating part of the proceeds to Hearts & Hooves.  Guests were in awe of her artistic achievements; known nationally for her woodworking talents, friends and visitors were in awe of her talents on canvas.  Because of Robyn’s generosity, Hearts & Hooves received $4,000 to benefit our riders.  You can learn more about Robyn’s accomplishments and see some of her artwork by visiting her website, www.robynhorn.com.

Rider Testimonials

Following hippotherapy, our children (ages 3 through 12 with disabilities ranging from severe CP to sensory problems) consistently have shown marked improvements in social, communication and motor skills.  Much more, they enjoy the interaction with these gentle creatures.  Each child has gained confidence, which shows in other areas of their lives.  Their disabilities limits participation in a great many activities – this is truly a very special activity for each.  ~June, mother

Volunteer Testimonials

I am sincerely honored to be part of Hearts & Hooves! It has truly become a passion in my life. In my world, full of office cubicles, computers, and project deadlines, I can honestly say that spending my time at Hearts & Hooves on Saturday is sometimes the only thing I look forward to all week! Being able to work with the great staff and awesome kids that come out is amazing! And, who knew shoveling horse poop could be so rewarding! I just wish I could give more of my time. ~Shane , age 27
